Quantity Surveyor

Job Scope & Job Responsibilities

• Preparation of Tender Document for RFQ
• Sourcing of subcon & vendor
• Issuing of RFQ documents
• Negotiation & clarification with subcon & vendor
• Comparison & analysis of quotation & proposal (TBE/CBE)
• Tabulation of cost and estimation for pricing preparation
• Measurement of quantity for RFQ (indicative to subcon)
• Preparation of Commercial Term
• Finalizing with subcon & vendor for contractual requirements
• Issuing of Letter of Award and Purchase Order
• Update of project budget
• Update of procurement status
• Payment responses (to subcon)
• Payment claim (to consultant)
• Liaise with Subcon/Consultant/Client for Payment Claim matters
• Update of claim summary & expenditure to PM for monthly progress report

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Preferably 3 years of relevant working experience in handling of contractual terms & conditions in construction industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to work under pressure with high initiative
