Quantity Surveyor

About the role
As a Quantity Surveyor at Duraform Engineering, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of construction projects. This full-time position in Subang Jaya, Selangor, will see you responsible for cost estimation and preparing progress claims of projects

What you'll be doing

• Prepare cost estimates and tender quotations
• Analyse drawings and specifications to identify materials and quantities required
• Negotiate and manage contracts with clients
• Liase with site manager to identify work done for each project
• Prepare monthly progress claims for the works completed
• Collaborate with project team to ensure successful project delivery

What we're looking for

• Degree/diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering from accredited university
• Ability to comprehend construction drawings especially for steel structures
• 2-3 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the construction industry
• Basic knowledge of construction materials and installation methods
• Strong communication and management skills
• Proficient in the use of Excel, basic AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team
