Quantity Surveyor

This role involves reviewing technical documentation, performing quantity take-offs, and managing project costing for electrical, ELV, and security system installation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review technical drawings, project specifications, tender documents, and scope of work to understand project requirements
• Perform quantity take-offs and calculate material requirements for electrical, ELV, and security system installation projects
• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BoQ), cost estimates, and project budgets
• Analyze material prices, supplier quotations, and subcontractor costs to ensure accurate and competitive project costing
• Monitor project quantities, cost variations, and additional work requirements to support effective project cost control

About you

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in MEP, electrical, ELV, or construction projects
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, project specifications, and tender documents
• Familiar with quantity take-offs, BoQ, budget preparation, and cost analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and able to meet project deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
