Quantity Surveyor

One of the world's largest quantity surveying and construction cost consultancies with offices worldwide is currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for Thailand to meet the demands of our growing business.

About the role

You will be responsible for managing project costs and commercial activities throughout the entire project lifecycle, from planning through to completion. Key responsibilities include cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, tendering, contract administration, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring commercial compliance. The role involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and cost studies throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage tender processes, including preparation of tender documents, BOQ, tender queries, bid evaluations, and tender recommendations
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets, identify cost variances, and provide recommendations to maintain effective cost control
• Review and assess contract matters, Variation Orders (VO), claims, and other commercial issues in accordance with the contract requirements
• Review and certify interim payment applications, contractor claims, and support the preparation and agreement of final accounts
• Prepare cost and commercial reports and coordinate with the Client, PM/CM, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate commercial deliverables

About you

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• 1 to 4 years of engineering experience
• New graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with Glodon, CostX, and AutoCAD will be an added advantage
• A TOEIC score of 600 or above will be an advantage
