Quantity Surveyor

Position: Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

• Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and quantity take-offs for building construction, civil engineering, and road works projects.
• Prepare tender documents, Bills of Quantities (BQ), and conduct pre- and post-tender administration.
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor project costs, prepare cost reports, and implement cost-control measures.
• Prepare and evaluate progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and assess the financial impact of project changes.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and site teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Conduct site measurements and verify quantities and work progress.
• Maintain project documentation and provide cost advice to management.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the management.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field. (Building construction, civil engineering, and/or road works projects)
• Knowledge of cost estimation, quantity take-off, Bills of Quantities (BQ), tendering, contract administration, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts.
• Able to work independently and under pressures, well organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing and able to travel to project sites as required.
