QUANTITY SURVEYOR (CONSTRUCTION & INTERIOR DESIGN)

We are an established Construction & Interior Design (ID) Company involved in residential, commercial, and renovation projects. We are seeking a committed and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team.

📋 Job Scope & Responsibilities:

Pre-Contract:

• Prepare cost estimation, project budgeting, and feasibility studies
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ) and tender documents
• Call for quotations and evaluate supplier & subcontractor pricing
• Attend site visits and tender briefings
• Negotiate rates and contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers

Post-Contract:

• Prepare and submit progress claims to clients
• Evaluate subcontractor claims and issue payment certificates
• Monitor project cost control and cash flow
• Conduct variation order (VO) evaluation and costing
• Handle final account preparation and closing
• Coordinate closely with Project Manager, Site Supervisor & ID team

Procurement & Supplier Management:

• Source materials for construction & interior fit-out works
• Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Deal directly with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
• Ensure materials delivered are within budget and timeline

📌 Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in construction and/or interior fit-out projects
• Familiar with renovation, commercial fit-out, and residential projects
• Strong knowledge of contract administration and cost control
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel & QS software
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
