Quantity Surveyor (Construction)

Redwood Lakeside is a property developer building premium projects in Phuket. We are looking for an experienced QS to join our team and take full control of project budgets, from BOQ to final cost.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed BOQs for premium construction projects.
• Review drawings and project documentation, including AutoCAD, and update quantities and costs when changes occur.
• Manage and evaluate Variation Orders (VO).
• Monitor current market rates for materials, labour, contractors and suppliers in Thailand.
• Review and validate contractor and supplier quotations before contracting.
• Compare quotations with approved budgets and apply the three-quotation principle.
• Support project cost control, forecasting and EAC monitoring.
• Participate in implementation of Earned Value Management (EVM) and link project costs with actual construction progress.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in construction.
• Strong experience with BOQ preparation and quantity take-offs.
• Ability to confidently read construction drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Excel.
• Strong understanding of the Thai construction market, local rates and suppliers.
• Understanding of EVM, cost forecasting and accrual-based cost accounting.
• English level Intermediate or above.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
