Quantity Surveyor (Construction/Civil)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, contract administration, and project cost control for high-rise building projects. Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.

Support the preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQ). Monitor project costs and help maintain budget control.

Assist in evaluating subcontractor quotations and preparing comparison reports. Prepare and process payment applications, variations, and claims.

Review and verify subcontractor invoices and progress payments.

Maintain accurate records of project costs, contracts, and procurement activities.

Assist in contract administration and compliance with project requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.

Support the preparation of project reports and cost analyses.

Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

3-8 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry. Experience working on high-rise building projects is preferred.

Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

Familiarity with AutoCAD and quantity surveying software is an advantage.

Good understanding of contracts, BOQs, and procurement processes.

Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

UAE experience is an advantage.

Valid UAE Driving License is preferred but not mandatory.
