Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator

Job Summary:

The Quantity Surveyor / Cost Estimator is responsible for managing project costs from initial estimates through final accounts. This role ensures that projects are completed within budget by accurately forecasting costs, monitoring expenses, and providing financial advice throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets based on project plans and specifications
• Analyze drawings, materials, labor, and time requirements
• Conduct cost analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents
• Evaluate contractor bids and assist in procurement processes
• Monitor project costs and track any variations or changes
• Prepare progress claims, valuations, and final accounts
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements
• Maintain accurate records of all project-related costs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• Proven experience in cost estimation or quantity surveying
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and numerical skills

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
