Quantity Surveyor cum Drafter

As a Drafter cum Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for both drafting and quantity surveying tasks to support the smooth execution of projects.

Your key responsibilities include preparing detailed technical drawings using CAD software, reviewing project plans and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, and preparing cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BQ). You will also assist in tender submissions, material costing, and project cost monitoring.

You will work closely with the project and site teams to ensure that drawings, measurements, material quantities, and cost calculations are accurate. The ideal candidate should be able to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently as well as in a team.

Job Scope

• Prepare and revise technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ).
• Prepare cost estimates, quotations, and tender documents.
• Assist in material take-offs, cost comparisons, and procurement activities.
• Coordinate with project managers, site teams, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Verify drawings, site measurements, and material quantities.
• Monitor project costs and assist in budget control.
• Ensure drawings and quantity calculations are accurate and comply with project specifications.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of drawings, quotations, and project records.
• Carry out other related duties as assigned by the management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Drafting, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or a related field.
• Preferably with 1–3 years of relevant working experience. Fresh graduates with relevant knowledge are encouraged to apply.
• Proficient in BIM & AutoCAD. Knowledge of other drafting software is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willing to learn and take on both drafting and quantity surveying responsibilities.

Pay: $2,000.00 - $2,400.00 per month
