Quantity Surveyor cum Estimation Engineer

We are a steel structure, Pre-Engineered Building (PEB) and fabrication contracting group. Our Gujranwala office supports live project work in Saudi Arabia and other countries.

About the Role
You will work from our Gujranwala office and handle quantity surveying and estimation work for our Saudi projects. You will prepare the numbers that go to clients and keep project costs and billing accurate.

Key Duties

• Prepare BOQs from drawings and tender documents
• Prepare cost estimates and tender pricing
• Do rate analysis for materials, labour and subcontract items
• Prepare monthly progress bills and interim payment certificates (IPCs)
• Measure completed work and reconcile quantities with site records
• Prepare variation and change order claims with supporting calculations
• Prepare final accounts and close out project billing
• Compare client BOQ against actual quantities and report differences
• Coordinate with the project and design teams on quantity and cost queries

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in QS, billing or estimation in construction or contracting
• Strong working knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement and IPC billing
• Good skills in MS Excel
• Ability to read and measure from drawings
• Clear written English for emails and reports
• Able to work full-time from our Gujranwala office

Good to Have (not required)

• Experience with AutoCAD or measurement software
• Experience with Saudi or Gulf contract billing formats
• Experience in steel, PEB or industrial projects. This is not required, and we will train the right person.
