What they need
Job purpose: Manage quantity surveying, cost estimation and commercial documentation to support design development, procurement and project cost control.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare bills of quantities (BOQs), quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify scope gaps and variations.
- Support tender pricing, material cost analysis and subcontractor comparisons.
- Prepare interim payment applications and assess variations.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, commercial and project teams.
- Maintain quantity records, cost reports and commercial documentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5–8+ years of quantity surveying experience.
- Strong BOQ preparation, measurement, estimation and variation assessment skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and relevant quantity surveying software.
- UAE/GCC QS experience.
