We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Drafter based in Johor Bahru to work remotely with our Singapore team.

Key Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and calculate material requirements.
• Obtain supplier, installer and freight quotations.
• Prepare detailed project costings and identify missing scope or commercial risks.
• Produce 2D AutoCAD layouts, reflected ceiling plans, elevations, sections and construction details.
• Revise drawings following comments from clients, consultants and project teams.
• Prepare drawings for approval, fabrication, installation and as-built records.
• Assist with purchasing, supplier coordination and delivery tracking.
• Maintain accurate costing, drawing and project records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Architecture, Building Technology or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in quantity surveying, estimating or construction costing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to prepare 2D construction drawings independently.
• Able to read architectural and interior-design drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong numerical skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently with a remote team.
• Experience in interior fit-out, ceilings or architectural products would be an advantage.

Salary: RM 4,000 – 5,500
