Quantity Surveyor - Electrical / Mechanical / Civil

About the role

In this role, it is the responsibility to minimize project expenses, maximize value for money, and ensure that all deliverables adhere to strict budget boundaries. You will work closely with project managers, site engineers, and external subcontractors from the initial design phase through to final account closure.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed material take-offs and quantity measurements from architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) drawings
• Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost plans, and pre-bid tender documents
• Evaluate subcontractor quotes, assist in supplier negotiations, and draft material procurement schedules
• Identify, measure, and price variation orders, tracking structural or material changes against the baseline budget
• Conduct regular site visits to verify actual work accomplished for interim monthly billing and subcontractor payment certificates
• Generate monthly Cost-Value Reconciliations (CVR) and project budget forecasts for top management review

About you

• Minimum of 2–5 years of progressive experience as a site or office-based Quantity Surveyor or Cost Estimator
