Quantity Surveyor (Electrical/6 days)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, tenders, and BOQs for electrical and infrastructure projects.
• Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and project cost control.
• Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Source and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations.
• Manage subcontract agreements, POs, claims, variations, and final accounts.
• Monitor project expenditure and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, procurement, and client teams on commercial matters.
• Maintain accurate cost and contract documentation.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
• 2–5 years of QS experience in electrical, M&E, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in power cables, electrical distribution, substations, or utility works is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of contract administration and construction cost management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; QS/estimating software knowledge is a plus.
• Able to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
