Quantity Surveyor Engineer

ERA Projects is looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor Engineer to join our construction team in Bahrain. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in quantity surveying, cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control for construction projects, including villas and high-rise buildings.

Candidates must be currently available in Bahrain and able to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and project budgets.
• Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Prepare interim payment applications, progress claims, and final accounts.
• Evaluate variations, subcontractor quotations, and material costs.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement teams, and subcontractors.
• Review tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
• Assist in cost forecasting, budget tracking, and financial reporting.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed works for payment certification.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, variations, and commercial documentation.
• Support tender preparation, contract administration, and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor Engineer in the construction industry.
• Experience in villa projects, high-rise buildings, or large-scale construction projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and cost control.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and variation claims.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and relevant quantity surveying software.
• Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with project teams.
• Must be currently located in Bahrain.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
