Job Summary

Leading construction is looking to strengthen their Commercial department through the appointment of an ambitious Quantity Surveyor / Estimator who can work closely with clients from the public sector and private sector.

We are looking for an organised, commercially focused Estimator / Quantity Surveyor with experience working within new build, refurb and planned Works.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join our Commercial team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, budgeting, and financial planning for construction projects. Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience

• Quantity Surveying experience.
• Must have 12 months experience working as a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator
• Previous experience within Facilities Management, Building Maintenance, Refurbishment or Planned Works.
• Good understanding of NEC and/or JCT contracts.
• Experience preparing Applications for Payment, Valuations, Variations, CVRs and Final Accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation skills.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction / FM industry.
• Strong expertise in cost control, budgeting, and financial management of construction projects.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Pay: £50,482.40-£55,221.04 per year
