Quantity Surveyor (Head Office, Alternate Sat-off)

Job Responsibilities

-Quantity Survey / Cost Estimation

• Involved in tendering process (preparation of specifications, bills of quantities and other tender documents)
• Handle subcon claims, certificates, payments and Variation Order
• Support negotiation and award project sub-package
• Conduct cost estimate and collate prices in a summary

-Purchasing

• Coordinate the subcontractor resource selection work for the pre-bidding of Hong Kong project
• Collect, expand, and introduce high-quality subcontractor resources in Hong Kong, establish and maintain the subcontractor resource database in Hong Kong region
• Be responsible for researching and grasping the market situation of regional or professional resources in Hong Kong, collecting factors affecting prices and grasping price changes, and forming a market research report

Job requirements

• Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid experience in the management of engineering project bidding and tendering is required.
• Able to work under pressure and tight schedule.
• Detail-minded, well organized and able to work independently.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word & Excel).
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin).
• Immediate available is highly preferred.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
