Company Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (Interior Fit-Out) to join our team in Ras Al Khor, Dubai. The ideal candidate will take ownership of commercial, contractual, and estimation activities across high-end interior fit-out and design projects in the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Estimation & BOQ Preparation:
• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material take-offs, and rate analysis based on interior design, joinery, and MEP drawings.
• Source, analyze, and negotiate competitive quotes from local UAE subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Prepare comprehensive tender submittals and commercial bid proposals.
• Post-Contract & Cost Management:
• Track project costs, perform monthly budget reviews, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare and submit monthly Interim Payment Applications (IPA) / valuations to clients and consultants.
• Certify subcontractor payment certificates against verified on-site work progress.
• Variations & Contract Administration:
• Identify scope changes, prepare variation claims, and handle pricing approvals with clients and consultants.
• Administer subcontracts, purchase orders, and contractual correspondence in accordance with UAE market standards and project agreements.
• Final Accounts & Closeout:
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to reconcile actual material usage and site work.
• Negotiate and finalize project final accounts with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 3 to 6 years of solid quantity surveying experience.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Advanced MS Excel, and standard estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, Candy, or CostX).
• Hands-on expertise in reading and interpreting interior fit-out, MEP, and joinery shop drawings.
• Knowledge:
• Deep familiarity with UAE standard methods of measurement, local authority regulations, and standard form contracts.
• Strong commercial acumen, vendor negotiation capabilities, and communication skills.
• Location: Must be based in or able to commute reliably to Ras Al Khor, Dubai.
