Quantity Surveyor Manager

The QS Manager is responsible for leading and managing all quantity surveying and cost control functions of assigned construction projects. This role ensures accurate cost estimates, effective budget monitoring, proper billing, and financial control from bidding up to project close-out. The QS Supervisor also supports management during tender preparation by providing reliable cost data and bid analysis, while supervising junior QS staff and coordinating closely with project, procurement, and site teams to maintain project profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage all quantity surveying activities for assigned projects

1. Prepare, review, and approve BOQs, cost estimates, and cost plans
2. Oversee progress billings, variation orders, and final accounts
3. Monitor project costs vs. approved budgets and prepare cost control reports
4. Review contractor and supplier quotations and bid comparisons
5. Assist in bidding and tender preparation through accurate estimates, BOQs, and quotation analysis
6. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement during bid and project execution
7. Validate quantities based on approved drawings and actual site conditions
8. Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
9. Ensure QS documentation is complete, accurate, and audit-ready
10. Guide and supervise junior QS staff
11. Assist in contract evaluations, claims, and dispute resolution
