Quantity Surveyor (ME)

About the role

As a Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical) at PMQS Construction Solutions, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial and financial aspects of mechanical and plumbing (MPF) aspect of our projects. Based in our office in Ortigas Pasig City Metro Manila, this full-time position requires extensive knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and a keen eye for cost optimization.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Responsible in preparing realistic, adaptable and accurate initial budget estimates and cash flow projections.

2. Conduct quantity take-off and estimate on the various stages of the project but not limited to;

a) Square Cost Estimate

b) Schematic Design Estimate

c) Conceptual Design Estimate

d) Design Development Estimate

e) Definitive Office Estimate

f) Detailed Bill of Quantities

g) Value Engineering

3. Assist in the preparation of the MEPF bid evaluation report.

4. Assist in the preparation of MEPF bid packages and other bid documents needed in the bidding process.

5. Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and projections, construction agreements and other project MEPF reports and submit to the Chief Quantity Surveyor for MEPF for review and evaluation.

6. Attends weekly project meetings with PM/CM/Consultants/Customer and Constructors on MEPF issues.

7. To represent the organisation in bid conferences and other project meetings on MEPF aspects.

8. To transact with contractors in behalf of the organisation, reviewing and evaluating the contractor's project offer for MEPF works.

9. To prepare the needed MEPF documents in any project meetings.

10. Prepare any MEPF change order evaluation stated and will submit the same to the Chief Quantity Surveyor for MEPF for his review.

11. Exemplifies qualities that would encourage staff loyalty, teamwork and dedication to the organisation.

12. Any other work, projects or tasks as directed by the Sr. Quantity Surveyor for MEPF, the Quantity Surveying Manager.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Preferably licensed
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar role within the construction or engineering industry
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, construction methods, and industry regulations
• Knowledgeable in QS Consultancy.
• Knowledgeable with Plumbing, Fire pro and other mechanical facets.
• Knowledgeable with Bluebeam / QS Software/MS Software.
• Willing to work in Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proficient in using cost estimation software and project management tools.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php29,000.00 per month
