Quantity Surveyor (Plumbing & Drainage)

To meet our business expansion, we are looking for a high-calibre and self-motivated candidate to join our team as Quantity Surveyor (Plumbing & Drainage).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimation, budget control, and cash flow projection for Plumbing & Drainage (P&D) projects.
• Handle tendering procedures, evaluate sub-contractors' quotations, negotiate, and prepare sub-contract agreements.
• Prepare monthly interim payment applications, handle site re-measurement, and certify sub-contractors' payment applications.
• Measure, submit, and negotiate Variation Orders (VOs), claims, and handle final accounts settlement with main contractors, consultants, and sub-contractors.
• Assist in handling contractual issues, legal correspondence, and cost-related queries.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically focusing on Plumbing & Drainage (P&D) and pumping system works.

• Familiar with Hong Kong standard forms of contract, Standard Method of Measurement (SMM), and P&D materials/equipment.

• Strong numerical sense, commercial awareness, and good negotiation skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

• Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS).
