Quantity Surveyor (Post-contract)

The Quantity Surveyor (Post-contract) reviews contracts and scope of works, coordinates with the Project Team on procurement, sources and compares quotations, recommends awards and prepares subcontracts, prepares and verifies claims, manages variation orders, oversees project close-out, and maintains proper contractual records.

1. Job scope:

   • Review and understand the contract and scope of works.
   • Collaborate and coordinate with Project Team to align the procurement plan.
   • Source, collect, review and compare quotations received.
   • Propose awards recommendation and prepare Subcontracts.
   • Prepare claim and verify data accuracy.
   • Collaborate with Project Team to manage and monitor the variation orders.
   • Project close-out.
   • Maintain proper contractual records and filing.
   • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

   Requirements:

   • Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Civil Engineering or other equivalent qualifications.
   • No experience is required. Candidates with relevant experience (Post-contract) in Construction / Engineering industry, preferably with Main-Con or M&E or other engineering services company will be prioritized.
   • Candidates with mixed experience in ACMV, M&E, MEP, civils, building services or fitting out works in Data Centre, Industrial or Commercial projects will be prioritized.
   • Familiarity with or basic knowledge of standard forms of contract (e.g. PSSCOC, SIA, REDAS, FIDIC, etc.)
   • Attentive to details, responsible and responsive with positive attitude.
   • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
