Quantity Surveyor (QS) – Business Development / Tender

About the role

A proactive Quantity Surveyor (QS) role with experience in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration to join the Business Development team. This role provides exposure to both technical QS functions and client-facing business development.

Key responsibilities

• Report directly to the Business Development Manager
• Prepare tender submissions, cost estimates, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• Perform quantity take-off, budgeting, and cost control for projects
• Handle variation orders (VO), progress claims, and final accounts
• Liaise with clients on project progress, additional works, and contract matters
• Follow up with existing clients for new projects and business opportunities
• Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors on project execution

About you

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field
• At least 2 years of experience in the construction or civil engineering industry
• Strong knowledge of tendering, costing, and contract administration
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
