Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Buildexa is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to manage project cost estimation, quantity take-offs, BOQs, billing, and cost control for construction projects. The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of construction materials, civil works, estimation, and project documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) based on architectural and structural drawings.
• Conduct quantity take-offs for civil, structural, and finishing works.
• Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and project budgets.
• Verify contractor bills, running account (RA) bills, and work completion quantities.
• Prepare and verify client bills, subcontractor bills, and material bills.
• Monitor project expenses and maintain cost-control records.
• Coordinate with site engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors.
• Check material consumption and identify variations against BOQ quantities.
• Prepare variation statements and additional work cost estimates.
• Maintain measurement sheets, billing records, and other project-related documents.
• Assist in tender preparation, quotation comparison, and vendor negotiations.
• Ensure accuracy in measurements, quantities, and project cost reporting.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying in the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and rate analysis.
• Experience in contractor billing, RA bills, and measurement sheets.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical, calculation, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and site execution

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹52,000.00 per month
