Since 1994, we have been involved in commercial, industrial, hospitality, residential and infrastructure projects, including Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, Public Bank HQ, Setia City Mall and MRT stations.

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Puchong, Selangor. Both experienced and senior-level candidates are welcome to apply, with responsibilities and remuneration determined based on experience and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), schedules of quantities, cost estimates, quotations and tender documents.
• Perform quantity take-offs based on construction drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets, expenditure and costs to ensure effective cost control.
• Prepare and submit main contractor progress claims, variation orders (VO) and final accounts.
• Evaluate subcontractor progress claims, payment applications and contractual obligations.
• Identify and document additional works, variations and potential contractual claims.
• Conduct site measurements and valuations when required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and internal project teams on project-related matters.
• Maintain accurate project records, cost reports and ISO-related documentation.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in interior construction, interior fit-out or building construction.
• Candidates with 5 years or more of relevant experience may be considered for the Senior Quantity Surveyor position.
• Good understanding of pre-contract and post-contract QS processes, including tendering, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications and contractual documents.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and relevant QS software.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Chinese proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel locally for site visits.
• Must have full working rights in Malaysia.

Additional Expectations for Senior QS Candidates

• Able to independently manage project costing, contracts and financial matters from tender through to final accounts.
• Experienced in managing multiple projects and coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Capable of providing commercial and contractual guidance to project teams.
