About the Role
We are a steel works subcontractor based in the Kajang / Semenyih area (Beranang) looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team. You'll get hands-on exposure across the full project cycle — from tender to final account — with guidance from our senior QS team. Great opportunity to grow your QS career with us.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare tender documents, costing and budgets for new projects
- Review drawings and Bill of Quantities (BQ) to check for discrepancies
- Prepare and submit progress claims for approval
- Handle variation orders (VO), re-measurement and extension of time claims
- Prepare final accounts on project completion
- Liaise with clients, consultants and project managers on-site and in meetings
- Occasional site travel required
Job Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience
- Comfortable with Excel; AutoCAD knowledge an advantage
- Able to travel to site when needed
- Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia
