Quantity Surveyor (Work in Singapore)

Our esteemed client, an established MNC, is searching for a Quantity Surveyor:

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Project Manager in both pre-contract and post-contract activities for fast-track construction projects.
• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, price comparisons, and costing summaries for civil and building projects.
• Measure quantities accurately and prepare progress payment claims, variation order (VO) claims, extension of time (EOT) claims, subcontractor payments, supplier payments, and final accounts.
• Maintain proper project documentation and records to support contractual claims and project administration.
• Monitor project costs and provide cost control support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers on contractual and commercial matters.
• Work closely with the Safety team to support Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) initiatives and ensure compliance with the Company's Safety
• Management System and Workplace Safety & Health Act (WSHA).
• Perform any other Quantity Surveying or project-related duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a main construction contractor.
• Experience in both pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying will be an advantage.
• Good understanding of tendering, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders, EOT claims, and final accounts.
• Knowledge of construction methods, building materials, market pricing, and construction cost trends.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Additional Information:

• **Salary:** Up to SGD 6,000 +VB (1-2 months)
• Working Location: Redhill
• Working Hours:  5 Days Work, 8:30am-5:30pm
