QUANTITY SURVEYOR/ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Job Requirements:

1.       Handle quotation and quotation evaluation.

2.       Prepare and evaluate progress claims and variation orders.

3.       Monitor project costs, budget and expenditure.

4.       Conduct measurement and quantity take-off from drawings and site works.

5.       Assist in contract administration and manage subcontractor.

6.       Check and verify site measurements and completed works.

7.       Liaise with contractor, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters.

8.       Maintain proper cost records, documentation and reports.

9.       Identify potential cost risks and advise the Project Manager on commercial matters.

Requirement:

1.       Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field.

2.       Minimum 2 – 3 years of relevant site experience in the construction industry.

3.       Experience in building/infrastructure projects is an advantage.

4.       Good knowledge of measurement, costing, and contract administration.

5.       Familiar with progress claims and variation orders.

6.       Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

7.       Good communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

8.       Able to work independently and under pressure.

9.       Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
