Quantity Surveyor/Estimator - Metal Roofing

About the role

An experienced Metal Roofing Quantity Surveyor / Estimator position based in the Southern Lakes region, working closely with the Operations Manager, onsite teams and clients to ensure projects are accurately priced and professionally delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Completing accurate take offs and pricing for metal roofing and cladding projects
• Preparing and sending detailed quotes, including TAGS and job specific information
• Managing project documentation and job setup in internal systems
• Following up on quotes and supporting business development efforts
• Providing technical support and clear communication to clients and staff
• Overseeing invoicing, progress claims and job cost tracking
• Identifying cost variances and raising issues early
• Contributing to a safe, proactive health & safety culture

About you

• 3+ years' experience in a QS/estimating metal roofing focused role
• Strong understanding of metal roofing and cladding systems
• High accuracy, strong numerical confidence and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills
• Proficiency with industry relevant pricing systems
• Professional, proactive and able to foresee and resolve challenges
