About the Opportunity

Gleeson Quarries is a family owned and operated, predominantly Greywacke quarry based in Huntly. The quarry has been in operation for over 75 years, and we pride ourselves on our ability to deliver quality products in a timely and cost-effective manner.

As a Quarry Operator you will be responsible for the operation and maintaining a range of quarry plant, and machinery.  We are looking for multi skilled individuals who can operator our plant and machines.  You will have enthusiasm for the quarry industry and committed to learning and upskilling.

We are presently seeking a fulltime quarry operator, you will have the ability to operate plant, loader, excavator, dump trucks and general quarry operator tasks to join the team.

To be successful you will need to have the following:

·         A minimum of a Full Class 1 drivers' licence with a clean driving record

·         WTR endorsements an advantage

·         Reliable and punctual work ethic

·         Good communication skills and initiative

·         Excellent attitude towards H & S environment and quality

·         Ability to work within a team to achieve a common goal

·         Be committed to a safe workplace practice

·         Previous quarry industry related experience an advantage
