QUEENS Direct Support Professional

OVERVIEW:
The Children's Circle is interviewing Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) who are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of children and teens. This position is part-time, providing home-based Mental Health Counseling to children and teens in our CFTSS Program.

Qualifications:

• Bacherlors degree required
• Proven work experience providing mental health support to children / teens

Requirements:

• This position requires an active NYS Licensed Bachelors Degree
• Availability after school hour and/or weekends required
• Must have availability for minimum of 10 hours per week
• Ability to commute to homes in the Queens
• bilingual Spanish preferred

Responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing engaging, goal-oriented sessions tailored to each child's needs and strengths
• Writing daily session notes
• Collaborating with the child’s parents, our program supervisor, and other professionals who are servicing the child

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
