Alongside building a new factory and expanding our sales network, we are establishing a local R&D organization in China. One of our missions within R&D Industrial Operations Asia is to enable our global Scania truck and Next Era truck for the Chinese market, which includes finding local suppliers and homologating the truck. The position of Quick Team Engineer in Rugao, China, is a great opportunity for you to take the next step in your career and gain broad general knowledge and experience of our products and components. You will serve as the local R&D representative within the Rugao P&L structure, interacting with numerous cross-functional teams. The Quick Team consists of 14 people with a diverse mix of experiences, cultures, and backgrounds. We are a group that tackles daily challenges in a dynamic environment, consistently delivering results. Our Mission The Quick Team is responsible for, within the Q(uick) process, acting on product quality deviations, no matter the origin of the deviation. The goal is to quickly and with high-quality push forward solutions on cross-functional deviations from production and field quality issues. From the start of the assignments to close. To do that we introduce temporary short-term within 24h or final long-term solutions or definition within 10 working days. What will your main responsibilities be? As a Quick Team Engineer, you will be expected to:

• Manage Deviation Handling: Provide daily support to the group in handling product quality deviations, regardless of their origin (design, production, supplier and etc).
• R&D Representation: Act as the primary R&D representative on Quick items as Field Quality, Delivery Stops, or Product Deviations, collaborating closely with TRATON and Local R&D teams.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate effectively with various cross-functional departments to align efforts and drive towards the Quick team targets.
• Technical Documentation & Changes: Initiate and produce Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), technical drawings update, and other relevant product data.
• Design Implementation: Initiate and perform design changes that fall outside your immediate technical interface, ensuring proper agreement and coordination with the affected design areas.
• Autonomous Planning: Structure and plan your workload efficiently, maintaining clarity and focus even in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Agreement Management: Drive negotiations towards clear agreements, ensuring they are continuously documented, tracked, and followed up until closure.
