Quotation Engineer / Quote Engineer

About the role

Sanmina - SCI Systems (Thailand) Ltd. is seeking a talented Quotation Engineer / Quote Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Pathum Thani, Pathum Thani. In this role, you will be responsible for providing strategic, high-quality, and cost-effective engineering support to our clients, playing a crucial part in the success of our engineering operations.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare detailed quotations for clients, ensuring accurate cost estimates and competitive pricing.
• Liaise with internal teams, including designers and production specialists, to gather the necessary information for quotations.
• Analyze technical specifications, drawings, and other project requirements to identify potential challenges and propose viable solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and develop tailored quotation strategies.
• Maintain and continuously improve quotation templates and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and regulatory changes to ensure quotations remain competitive and compliant.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the sales team and clients throughout the quotation process.

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quotation or estimating role, preferably in the electronics or engineering industry.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cost estimation techniques, pricing strategies, and quotation software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
