Quotations Analyst

Wendover Art Group is seeking a Quotations Analyst to play a critical role in how we price our business.

Every quote has a direct impact on our ability to win business, protect margin, and deliver profitably. The difference between understanding the true cost of a product and simply putting a price on it can determine whether an order creates value for the company or erodes it.

We are looking for someone who is highly analytical, commercially minded, exceptional with details, and curious about how things are made. Someone who can understand the numbers at a granular level while recognizing the larger business impact of every pricing decision.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop accurate quotations across Wendover's core, commercial, retail, and custom business
• Analyze materials, labor, manufacturing processes, finishing, packaging, freight, and other cost drivers to determine true product cost
• Apply pricing strategies and margin requirements to ensure opportunities are competitive and profitable
• Understand the difference between cost, price, margin, and profitability and how changes in each impact the business
• Review drawings, specifications, product requirements, and customer requests to determine the complete scope of a quote
• Partner with Sales, Creative, Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Accounting to validate assumptions and build accurate pricing
• Analyze alternative materials, construction methods, quantities, and processes to identify opportunities to improve cost and margin
• Maintain pricing accuracy and identify discrepancies before they become financial issues
• Track quoted versus actual performance to continuously improve costing assumptions and future pricing
• Support complex and high-value opportunities with the analysis needed to make strong business decisions

Skills and Traits Necessary for Success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience working with data in a related field
• Experience in manufacturing, estimating, cost accounting, finance, pricing, engineering, or supply chain is highly valuable
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving capability
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large amounts of data
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of costing, pricing, margin, and profitability
• Ability to interpret product specifications, drawings, or technical information
• Strong business judgment and ability to evaluate multiple variables simultaneously
• High level of ownership, urgency, and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple quotes and priorities in a fast-paced environment
