R - Machine Learning Engineer

Our client is a technology-driven company specializing in software development, data solutions, and emerging AI technologies.

They are currently expanding their technology team and looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to develop and deploy scalable ML solutions, work with AI/LLM technologies, and collaborate with experienced software and data teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable machine learning models and algorithms to support business and product requirements.
• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze data from various sources for machine learning applications.
• Train, validate, test, and fine-tune machine learning models to improve accuracy and performance.
• Deploy machine learning models into production environments and integrate them with existing applications and systems.
• Monitor model performance and conduct regular updates, optimization, and maintenance to ensure continued reliability and accuracy.
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective ML solutions.
• Conduct research and stay updated on the latest developments, techniques, frameworks, and technologies in machine learning and artificial intelligence.
• Explore and implement suitable approaches in areas such as NLP, large language models, transformers, and attention mechanisms where applicable.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, JAX, or Scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of data management and processing technologies such as SQL, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools including NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib.
• Understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Familiarity with transformer architectures and attention mechanisms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and collaborative environment.
