R - Procurement/Purchasing Executive

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Senai, Johor, specializing in industrial and manufacturing solutions. The company is currently expanding its operations and is looking for a Purchasing Executive to support its procurement and material planning activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive customer forecasts and coordinate the information with suppliers/vendors.
• Issue Purchase Orders (PO) to suppliers based on customer forecasts and production requirements.
• Coordinate material call-offs according to the production schedule.
• Monitor material availability and ensure sufficient stock to support production plans.
• Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
• Liaise with suppliers to follow up on orders, deliveries, and material availability when required.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the superior or management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience will be an added advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Willing to work in Senai, Johor.
