About the role
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of refrigeration and air-conditioning (RAC) systems in the hotel. Ensures that all equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with hotel standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems
- Check and maintain compressors, motors, electrical components, and refrigerant systems
- Respond promptly to guest room and operational HVAC-related concerns
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, equipment, and refrigerants
- Maintain maintenance records and report major issues to the Engineering Supervisor
- Follow safety, energy conservation, and hotel maintenance standards
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Engineering Department
