Radiation Therapist

A healthcare organization in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Radiation Therapist to support the delivery of precise radiation treatments in a fast-paced clinical setting with a focus on patient safety and compassionate care.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week (variable 8-hour shifts within 6:30m to 8:30pm)
• Setting: In-person clinical setting

Responsibilities:

• Administer radiation therapy treatments in accordance with prescribed plans and clinical documentation
• Perform treatment procedures including 3D, IMRT, and CT simulation support
• Complete linear accelerator and CT simulator warm-up procedures and related quality checks
• Monitor equipment performance, document variances, and escalate machine issues as needed
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care and teamwork

Qualifications:

• 1 to 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Associate's degree, or a High School Diploma / GED with ARRT certification obtained prior to January 1, 2015
• ARRT certification
• Florida state licensure as a Certified Radiation Therapy Technologist (CRT-RTT)
• BLS certification

Desired Skills:

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced oncology environment
• Familiarity with treatment documentation, machine quality assurance, and radiation oncology workflows
