Radiation Therapist - Days

Role: Radiation Therapist in Oncology

Responsibilities

• Simulate treatment setups, perform dosimetric calculations, and deliver ionizing radiation accurately under supervision.
• Assist in patient care and management, ensuring adherence to clinical and operational policies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Radiation Therapy program (required).
• Candidate for ARRT (R) certification, with successful certification within one year.
• Current CPR certification (required).
• Illinois licensure from IEMA (required).
• Preferred experience with Varian equipment and ARIA EMR.

Key Duties: Performing treatment simulations, calculations, patient care, and maintaining compliance with policies.
