Radiation Therapy Technologist

Role & responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiotherapy equipment such as LINAC and other treatment machines.
• Position and immobilize patients accurately for radiation treatment.
• Perform CT simulation and assist with treatment planning and verification.
• Deliver prescribed radiation treatments while following safety and radiation-protection protocols.
• Monitor patients during treatment and provide appropriate care and support.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.
• Follow quality assurance, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
• Coordinate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

• Diploma In Radiotheraphy Technology
• B.Sc. in Radiotherapy Technology / Radiation Therapy
