Radio Frequency Engineer (North Luzon based)

The  Radio Frequency Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, optimization, and evaluation of wireless radio networks, including Wi-Fi, indoor DAS, and Small Cell systems.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform site surveys and RF assessments to gather data for system planning

• Create RF propagation models and simulate coverage using planning tools for Wi-Fi, DAS, and Small Cell systems

• Design and plan indoor and outdoor wireless systems based on client requirements, performance goals, and environmental conditions

• Assess potential deployment sites and generate reliable coverage and capacity solutions

• Select appropriate technologies, antennas, and equipment to meet project-specific design targets

• Conduct KPI-based validation of system designs and support optimization efforts post-deployment

• Analyze drive test results and RF logs; recommend adjustments for optimal performance

• Coordinate with implementation and commissioning teams to ensure design alignment and smooth integration

• Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to support technical scoping for proposals

• Prepare RF design documentation, reports, and updates for internal and client-facing deliverables

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering or a related field
• At least 2-4 years of experience in RF planning, design, or optimization (Wi-Fi, DAS, Small Cell, or cellular networks)
• Proven experience in DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems) design, optimization, and preferably commissioning
• Strong grasp of wireless communication concepts, coverage prediction, link budgeting, and propagation modeling
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams and technical functions
• Willing to travel and conduct field surveys/site assessments as required
