Radiologic Technologist

About the role

Radiologic Technologist and Ultrasound Technologist positions involving preparation of radiography and ultrasound equipment, positioning patients, and obtaining optimal images for diagnosis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare radiography equipment, position patients, and obtain optimal images for diagnosis
• Properly handle machines and equipment used
• Monitor preventive maintenance by service provider
• Closely follow physician instructions
• Display preventive steps to avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
• Communicate calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all different types of patients
• Report abnormal x-ray findings to the requesting physician when necessary
• Adhere to the Company's health and safety standards
• Maintain patients' confidentiality
• Operate sonographic scanners that create images of patients' internal organs
• Help patients prepare for procedures by explaining the process and preparing the skin surface
• Maintain records of patients for future reference
• Present images and preliminary findings to physicians
• Ensure image quality and make adjustments to equipment as needed
• Assist in performing special procedures

• Able to communicate calmly, compassionately, and professionally with all different types of patients including the elderly and ailing
• Able to perform work assignment with minimum need for supervision and guidance
