RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST

JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

• Validates doctors’ instructions and/or patient’s requests on the type of examination to be done; sets schedules and coordinates preparation for examinations to be conducted with the patient and the Nurse on duty.

• Provides briefing and orientation to out-patients on the preparation required for radiologic examinations that they will undergo.

• Prepares oral contrast to be used in the course of radiologic procedures.

• Performs radiologic procedures such as MRI, CT scan, mammography, and ultrasound.

• Ensure that preventive measures are undertaken to prevent assisting relatives of patients from being exposed to hazards of radiation.

  • Processes exposed films, checks the radiograph, and submits outputs for the interpretation of the Radiologist.

  • Records and releases results of examinations conducted on the basis of proper authorization; retrieves films and examination results from doctors and hospital staff who borrowed the same.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferably with at least one (1) year of work experience

• Newly licensed Radiologic Technologist are welcome to apply!

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology

• Registered and with valid PRC license.
