Radiologic Technologist

About the role

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately, providing quality patient care, maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring compliance with hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures as requested by authorized physicians
• Verify the patient's identity, examination request, and relevant clinical information before performing procedures
• Explain the procedure to patients and provide appropriate instructions
• Position patients correctly to obtain quality diagnostic images
• Operate X-ray and other radiologic imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Apply appropriate radiation protection measures for patients, staff, and visitors
• Follow the principles of ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) in radiation exposure
• Evaluate images for proper positioning, exposure, and diagnostic quality
• Maintain accurate and complete records of examinations performed
• Perform routine checks and basic troubleshooting of radiologic equipment

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology or equivalent recognized degree
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) with a valid PRC license
• Knowledgeable in radiographic procedures, radiation protection, and patient care
• Familiar with hospital infection-control and safety protocols
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working effectively under pressure
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, including weekends and holidays, as required
• Preferably with relevant hospital or diagnostic imaging experience
