Radiologic Technologist

1. Unit management

• Receives the requests from the patients due for procedures / examination
• Gathers data necessary for the requested procedures
• Updates all necessary charges of the patient/s
• Renders the necessary charges of the patients
• Complies with set policies and procedures at all times
• Ensures that all instructions are given to the patients due for procedures

2.    Diagnostic Procedures

• Performs imaging procedures and handles the special machine procedures in imaging and therapeutic (i.e. MRI, nuclear medicine, CT scan, Ultrasound, mammography, x-ray)

3.    Report / Record Management

• Ensures that all results are correctly encoded and released to the rightful patients
• Prepares reports are required
• Safe keeps the department’s record and files

4.    Other duties and Responsibilities

• Keep abreast with the latest / recent development, current literature and sources of information on radiologic / imaging technology appropriate to the field of specialization
• Performs other duties as may be assigned from time to time
