Radiologic Technologist

About the role

This role involves preparing and positioning patients for various imaging procedures including X-ray, Ultrasound, and CT Scan. You will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to produce high-quality radiographs, strictly follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles, maintain accurate patient records, perform routine equipment checks, and collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients accurately for various imaging procedures
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment efficiently to produce high-quality radiographs
• Strictly follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Maintain accurate patient records and log imaging procedures
• Encode data into the hospital/clinic information system
• Perform routine checks on imaging equipment and report malfunctions immediately
• Maintain a clean, sterilized work environment
• Coordinate closely with radiologists, attending physicians, and nursing staff

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology (BSRT)
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with a valid Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) license
• Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with diagnostic imaging equipment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to handle all patients
• Ability to remain calm and efficient in fast-paced or emergency situations
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, compassionate, and an active team player
