Pay Range

• Travel Candidates: $2,200–$2,500 per week, depending on experience.
• Local Candidates: $2,000–$2,200 per week, depending on experience.

Weekly compensation is based on experience, assignment eligibility, and applicable pay package terms.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Radiologic Technologist to join the Diagnostic Radiology team at St. Vincent Carmel in Carmel, Indiana. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic imaging skills, experience working in a surgical setting, and familiarity with O-arm and C-arm imaging equipment.

This is a day-shift contract opportunity with a consistent Monday-through-Friday schedule. The selected candidate must be available for required call rotation and potential holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Operate radiology imaging equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist surgical teams with intraoperative imaging procedures using C-arm and O-arm equipment.
• Follow radiation safety standards and patient care protocols.
• Verify patient identification, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.
• Participate in required call rotation and provide holiday coverage when needed.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, departmental procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a diagnostic imaging setting.
• Experience with surgical imaging procedures is preferred.
• O-arm and C-arm experience is requested for surgical assignments.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient positioning.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work the scheduled day shift and participate in required call rotation.
• Appropriate radiologic technologist credentials and applicable state licensure, as required by the facility.
