Radiologic Technologist

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology with PRC License

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Prepares the patient physically and mentally for the examination
• Selects the equipment to be used and positions the patient properly
• Selects the technique to be employed in relation to the x-ray source and recording medium and employed radiation protection of patient and staff
• Operates the x-ray machine
• Selects radiation exposures as to regulate the quantity of MAS and the quality of KVP
• Takes radiographs
• Processes the films and checks radiographs as to pictorials quality relevant to the examination requested by the patient
• Consults radiologist for further views if necessary and carries out if indicated
• Sorts out films and corporate all relevant documents, previous films and present films and arrange for final interpretation by the radiologist
• Assists the radiologist during Ultrasound examinations and during interpretation of x-ray films

• Shifting Schedule
• Due to the nature of this position, there may be work on Holidays or weekends

Pay: From Php700.00 per day
