Radiologic Technologist

Busy private practice seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to operate various imaging equipment. The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for ensuring all pre-testing safety checks are completed and patient is safe for the study, positioning patients, administering contrast (under the supervision of a physician), safe operation of the equipment, ensuring all protocols, policies and procedures are followed, coordinates patient flow, review images to ensure diagnostic and technical quality. The Radiologic Technologist will also have knowledge operating RIS, PACS and EHR software. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to: ensuring equipment is functioning properly, performs QA and requests maintenance when needed per manufacturer guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology

• New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist

• Current, AART, preferred

• Current BLS certification
